About this role
This role is based in our 240 Blackfriars, London office.
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our Windows-based infrastructure running in AWS. This role is focused on operational excellence, security, automation, and developer enablement.
You’ll work closely with product engineering teams to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and easy to deploy, while driving improvements in CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure automation.
What You’ll Do
Manage and operate Windows Server environments in AWS (EC2), ensuring high availability and performanceOwn patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening processes across Windows workloadsMonitor and respond to security events, working closely with security teams to remediate risksBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support consistent, reliable application deploymentsImplement and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar toolsDevelop automation using PowerShell and scripting to reduce manual operational overheadDesign and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure system healthPartner with product engineering teams to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issuesSupport releases and ensure smooth deployment processes across environmentsParticipate in on-call rotations and act as an escalation point for production incidentsLead or contribute to incident response and post-mortems, driving long-term improvementsCore Tech Stack
