About this role
We are looking for a Middleware Operations Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting critical data platforms in a production environment. This role focuses on ensuring the stability and performance of Kafka and Qlik Replicate platforms, contributing to operational excellence and incident resolution within a demanding and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily operations of Kafka and Qlik Replicate platformsMonitor production environments and ensure system availability and performanceTroubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysisHandle service requests, standard changes, and operational tasksWork within an L2 support model with a high level of autonomyAnalyze logs and use monitoring tools to identify and resolve issuesMaintain operational documentation and follow best practicesCollaborate with internal teams, ensuring clear communication and quality handoversContribute to strengthening Qlik operational capabilities and Kafka production supportGradually develop understanding of Cloudera platform dependenciesRequirements
3+ years of experience in production support, middleware operations, or platform operationsExperience in banking or other critical production environmentsProven experience with Kafka administration or supportHands-on experience with Qlik Replicate or similar CDC/replication toolsGood understanding of incident management, monitoring, and operational proceduresKnowledge of Linux systems and log analysisExperience working in L2 support environments with autonomyNice to Have
Exposure to Cloudera environmentsKnowledge of database replication conceptsAdditional Requirements
