About this role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Datacenter Architect with strong expertise in IaaS, Storage and Backup & Recovery solutions.
In this freelance role, you will help shape the architecture and evolution of enterprise compute and storage platforms within a complex infrastructure environment. You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure platforms remain scalable, resilient, secure, and fit for future business needs.
Your Role
Define and govern the architecture of IaaS compute and storage platforms.Establish and maintain architectural principles, standards, and guidelines.Drive platform modernization, lifecycle management, and infrastructure evolution initiatives.Review, challenge, and guide solution designs across multiple technical domains.Lead architectural decisions related to availability, performance, resilience, security, and recoverability.Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders.Maintain a consistent end-to-end architectural vision across platforms and environments.

Proven experience as a Datacenter Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or System Architect.Strong expertise in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).Experience with enterprise storage platforms and infrastructure environments.Solid knowledge of Backup & Recovery concepts and solutions.Experience with High-Performance Computing (HPC) is considered an asset.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Able to combine strategic thinking with technical deptTechnical Expertise
