As Project Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of complex renewable energy projects, coordinating cross-functional teams from development through key milestones to NTP. Acting as the central link between Development, EPC, Finance, Commercial and senior leadership, you will bring structure, transparency and momentum to projects while helping to strengthen our project management standards and ways of working. You will report to the Head of Project Management & Standards.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage projects and cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective coordination of all workstreams, internal functions and external stakeholders from Development through NTPEnsure consistent application of ib vogt project management standards, governance requirements and Stage Gate processes, including preparation of gate decisions and maintenance of required project information in CompassOversee the overall project schedule, budget and delivery performance, ensuring key development, commercial and execution milestones, including RTB, FID and NTP, are achieved on time and to the agreed quality standardsManage project risks, dependencies, issues and conflicts, driving mitigation actions, troubleshooting and timely escalation of material mattersEnsure effective day-to-day cross-functional project coordination, including clear ownership, follow-ups, action tracking and alignment between Development, Engineering, EPC, Grid, Commercial and other relevant functionsSupport and initiate project budgeting and Investment Committee approval processes, ensuring alignment between project strategy, budget, risks and delivery requirementsCoordinate and review key project agreements and commercial interfaces with the relevant functional teams, including EPC, Asset Management and O&M agreementsProvide regular project updates and reporting to senior management, covering key milestones, risks, budget, decisions and commercial mattersCoordinate key supporting project processes, including due diligence, project financing and project sales, ensuring timely involvement and alignment of the responsible functional teamsDrive continuous improvement of project delivery, including project kick-offs, lessons learned and implementation of improved project management standards and ways of working. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Finance, or a related disciplineSeveral years of professional experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, project development, project management, EPC, or project financeProven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholdersStrong commercial understanding of project finance, EPC contracts, transactions, and investment decisionsExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skillsStrong project management, planning, coordination, and organisational capabilitiesSolid understanding of project governance, risk management, budgeting, reporting, and Stage Gate processesHigh ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial mindsetAble to work independently and coordinate cross-functional, international teamsExperience working in multicultural environmentsProficiency in MS Office and project management/reporting tools; Compass is a plusPMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or similar certification is an advantageGerman C1+ requiredAdditional languages (Italian, Spanish, French) are a plus.
