Oversees the day-to-day functions of the corporate compliance and privacy programsReview all company compliance and privacy related policies to ensure Convey is meeting requirements with regulatory guidelinesCreates and implements new compliance and privacy policies and procedures in response to regulatory changes and external reviewsReviews all updated CMS Chapters and creates training on revisions and changesCollaborates with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolutionManages all required breach determination and notification processes under HIPAA and applicable State breach rules and requirementsCreate and monitor Business Associate Agreements to ensure that all Business Associates are maintaining privacy requirements and responsibilitiesReviews all client contracts from a compliance perspective
Qualifications/Requirements
10+ years’ experience in the Medicare managed care and/or pharmacy benefit management environment Understanding of all applicable CMS MedicareResponsible for compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations affecting Company and client related businessEducation:
A Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferredCompliance Certification and Healthcare Privacy Certification requiredKnowledge and experience in state and federal information privacy laws All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
