Development of new textile reinforcement materials (fabrics, cords) for ContiTech products, like power transmission and conveyor belts, hoses, etc. (worldwide responsibility)Development of textile reinforced rubber composite technologiesDefinition of technical specifications and requirementsSupport serial introduction of new textiles and products thereof, including smpling, lab testing/evaluation, manufacturing, product testingProvide Materials science expertise, drive knowledge sharing, and support in problem-solvingCentral R&D contact for ContiTech and suppliers worldwideMaintain our technology leadership, drive sustainability & innovationIdentify and implement optimization potentials Drive activities to improve and standardize procedures as a part of a lean and agile organizationLead cross-functional, international projectsClose cooperation with Purchasing, Process Development, Product Development, material testing labs Academic degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar qualificationExperience in development of technical textiles (cords, yarns, fabrics)Experience in development of reinforced rubber or composites materialsKnowledge in textile materials testing methodsStrong analytical skills - problem solving, decision making, data classification, examination of correlations, etc.Strong customer-oriented thinking, ownership, and collaboration skillsSense of urgency in completing projects on time and effectivelyIntercultural fluencyProject management experienceFluent English language skills
