About this role
As part of BA IEMEA's Manufacturing Process and Equipment Engineering team(MPE), you will plan, coordinate and track BA driven Manufacturing Engineering activities (e.g. investment projects, performance improvement and cost saving initiatives) in order to meet the defined MPE and Operations targets. Furthermore, this role strongly supports the execution of strategic manufacturing projects according to the defined BA investment budget.
Main responsibilities:
Ensure implementation of investments based on BA specific strategy, in strong collaboration with the assigned plantsSupport the preparation of the investment budget, spending forecasts and follow upGuidance for the approval of specifications / eCR for investments for production equipment Support the priorization of projects by utilizing business cases and using financial criteria (e.g. IRR, ROCE) Ensure implementation of investments based on BA specific strategy, in strong collaboration with the assigned plantsSupport the preparation of the investment budget, spending forecasts and follow upGuidance for the approval of specifications / eCR for investments for production equipment Support the priorization of projects by utilizing business cases and using financial criteria (e.g. IRR, ROCE) When applicable define and maintain BA equipment standards for a specific area of responsibility and support plants in implementationEnsure implementation of Sector M&E standards related with production equipment and systems for a specific area of responsibilityEnsure implementation of CT standards for installation, start-up, validation, handover and improvement of all production and SC (i.e. intralogistics) equipmentDrive feedback process for continuous development of standards in aligned with Sector M&ESupport the continuous qualification of manufacturing engineering employees in the plantsDrive operational production equipment performance monitoring and reporting University degree in electrical/mechanical/manufacturing engineering or similar3 or more years of professional experience in various manufacturing engineering functionsCross-functional experience e.g. in engineering, quality, production or CBS preferredComprehensive experience in project managementExperience in rubber and plastic production processes preferredExperience in a leadership position, in a technical team with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals preferredExperience in working with international teams on production topics and understanding of foreign culturesProficient in English language is mandatory
