Position Summary:

Perform market research & engage with customersCreate, collaborate & maintain marketing / technical contentMaintain product catalog for Tensioners, Belts & KitsIdentify sunsetting products and develop strategies to increase sales, consolidate or supersede/obsolete if necessaryIdentify product/category holes & work to fill gapsDevelop & introduce new products to market (timing belt, accessory drive, auxiliary water pump, some metric belts and tensioners) from concept to launchImprove market presence and solidify brand perceptionMaintain suppliers & materialsMaintain SAP settings and Data for portfolioWork with Distribution Centers for kitting businessResolve warranty claims and technical escalations from Sales & Customer ServiceCreate SOPs and guidelines tasks to establish protocol WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related fields or in lieu of bachelors degree 5+ years of experience in industry and/or product managementExperience converting a major customer's business from a competitor and developing, presenting, gaining approval and executing on major business cases.Sales and Customer Relationship management and developmentPresentation skills including working knowledge of PowerPointStrong negotiation skillsFinancial acumen including the ability to manage sales, margin, cost and working capital and to read and prepare business casesStrong communication skillsEmotional intelligence, cultural sensitivityMarket and knowledge of diverse industrial marketsBusiness planning and forecastingAutomotive Aftermarket product and customer knowledge Knowledge of Continental policies, procedures and valuesExperience executing along the sales cycle to hunt and close new customers and new business.Ability to translate applications and opportunities into business cases for evaluationLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
