About this role
We're looking for an experienced Architect/Civil Engineer to join our team in Szeged/Hungary, where you will lead the design and execution of complex industrial projects. In this role, you will be responsible for translating client requirements into comprehensive architectural and engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, efficient, and sustainable industrial facilities that meet both technical specifications and project timelines.
Develop detailed architectural and structural designs for industrial projects using advanced CAD and BIM softwareConduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project requirements and constraintsPrepare technical documentation, blueprints, and construction drawings in compliance with German building regulationsPerform structural analysis and design calculations to ensure safety and efficiencyManage project budgets, cost estimations, and resource allocation throughout project lifecycleCoordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project alignment and complianceOversee construction phases and provide on-site technical supervision and quality assuranceIdentify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and problem-solvingLead and mentor junior engineers and design team membersStay current with industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practices in industrial construction Proven experience in civil engineering and architectural design for industrial projects (minimum 5+ years)Advanced proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM modeling toolsStrong knowledge of structural analysis, design principles, and building codes, particularly German DIN standardsDemonstrated project management experience with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent technical documentation and communication skillsExperience with cost estimation, budget management, and resource planningProficiency in site assessment, feasibility analysis, and construction planningStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detailLeadership experience and proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsKnowledge of sustainability practices and green building methodologies (preferred)Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance protocols in construction (preferred)Professional certification or licensure in civil engineering or architecture (preferred) We want our employees to do well with us.
