Task area and Responsibility
Local P&I Department
▪ Establishment and development of local engineering expertize (e.g. products, processes, machinery etc.)
▪ Ensuring an adequate on-premises human resource
▪ Leading the local P&I team
Monitoring and Reporting
▪ Monitor and report the project related key figures
▪ Ensuring the timely submission of financial data for controlling
Training and Qualification
▪ Ensure a high knowledge/expertise and qualification in term ESH regulations, CBS methods and manufacturing processes
Communication & Information
▪ Sharing best practices and lessons learned
▪ Develope and maintain internal network
ESH
▪ Ensuring operation of new machines is according global laws and technical rules, e. g. CAG
Engineering Projects
▪ Develop concepts for new machinery and equipment togehter with the P&I team
▪ Ensuring the deployment of the most advanced, cots optimized (in term of total cost of ownership and other given requirements) technical solutions
▪ Plan budget and ressources for project (e.g. CapEx Planning)
▪ Apply CBS methods for continuous improvements
▪ Ensuring use of most developed cost optimized (in regard to total cost of ownership) technical solutions within projects performed in alignment with plants
▪ Ensuring alignment to Continental/ContiTech/SSL strategy and standards
▪ Execution of projects (e.g. project definition, scope, timing, budget, feasability studies, lessons learned etc.)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE* (Minimum)
Education / Certification
▪ university degree, preferably in production or engineering management, industrial engineering or related discipline
Professional Experience
(Variety of Functions, Variety of Business, General Management Experience)
▪ 5 or more years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering and project management.
▪ cross functional experience e.g. in maintenance, production, quality, supply chain or CBS preferred
Project and/or ProcessExperience
▪ comprehensive experience in rubber and/or plastic production processes
▪ experience in the roll-out of standards and/or strategic projects
▪ experience in execution of projects in manufacturing/production environment Leadership Experience▪ experiences leading leading people in a supervisior function
▪ experiences leading a project team with functional responsibility for other individualsIntercultural / InternationalExperience
▪ experience in working with international teams and understanding of foreign cultures
▪ proficient in minimum 2 languages, English is mandatory
