About this role
We are looking for a Head of Customer Logistics & Order Management Automotive (m/f/diverse) to lead customer logistics operations, manage customer order fulfillment and act as the key interface between customers, manufacturing locations and internal supply chain functions.
Your responsibilities:
Leading the transformation of the organizational structure from plant local teams to a global COM Automotive teamLeading customer logistics operations for the BA SSL Automotive SegmentContinuous performance improvement of customer logistics with the aim of meeting / exceeding customer expectations in terms of order processing and related communicationEnsuring the processing of customer orders from the receiving of a customer order to the fulfillment of the orderEnsuring timely and accurate order confirmations and OTIF deliveriesMaintenance and management of order data in SAP / EDI processesCentral customer contact for all order-related topicsCoordination with internal departments and external partners (e.g. logistics service providers)Ensuring compliance with legal, contractual and internal standardsEnsure effective and efficient communication and escalation management between GBS COM team and plant local teams Academic degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable fieldProven leadership experience in an international Customer Logistics, Order Management, Customer Supply Chain or related operational Supply Chain environmentSeveral years of solid experience in Customer Service, Customer Order Management, Customer Logistics, Service Center Management, or a comparable functionStrong customer orientation and excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsSolid experience in order management, demand fulfillment processes, and system-supported operations (e.g. SAP)Excellent knowledge of supply chain management tools, methods, and best practicesStrong analytical skills and a data-driven mindsetSolid experience leading or contributing to international and cross-functional projectsExperience in global data analytics, reporting, and performance managementFluent English language skills; additional languages are an advantageApplications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
