Key job responsibilities Amazon is seeking a talented and motivated Gear Design Engineer to own the design, analysis, and design-for-manufacturing of high-performance while cost-efficient gear systems for our robotic platforms at substantial scale. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise spanning diverse gear types for advanced robotics with a demonstrated ability to manage gear vendors (internal and external) and contract design partners.. This candidate must combine strong analytical skills with hands-on experience bringing precision gear systems from concept through volume manufacturing, and thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
