About this role
*Job Overview* The Lift Operator/Tube Park Attendant is responsible for the smooth and secure operation of the ski lifts and tube runs, with a focus on enhancing visitor's ski hill experience. Daily duties may include safely loading and unloading of guests, performing routine equipment maintenance, and upholding strict safety guidelines.
*Duties*
* Deliver excellent customer service by checking tickets, addressing guest inquiries and answering general questions * Oversee ski lifts and tubing operations, ensuring safe transportation from the bottom to the top of the ski hill * Assist guests with safely loading and unloading from ski lifts and tubes with prompt, friendly instruction and physical assistance as required * Provide direction to guests on busy days to maintain ordering and efficient lift operations * Perform daily tube park teardown including tube inflation and monitoring guest clearance at the end of the day * Conduct daily safety checks and maintain detailed records in lift logs * Understand all emergency procedures and protocols * Other duties as assigned by Outside Operations Manager.
*Requirements*
* Personable and professional with the ability to build strong relationships and interact with Vista Staff at all levels of the organization * Effective at working independently with minimal supervision * Ability and knowledge regarding skiing/snowboarding is an asset
*Working Conditions*
* Outdoor work in various winter weather conditions * Will be required to work in a fast paced environment * Standing for extended periods of time * Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing as required
