WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Safely operate trains and switching movements.
• Inspect equipment and ensure compliance with operating rules and FRA regulations.
• Couple and uncouple railcars, line switches, and perform switching operations.
• Communicate effectively with train crews, dispatchers, and customers.
• Operate locomotives safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine locomotive servicing and inspections.
• Read and follow train orders, bulletins, and work instructions.
• Maintain a constant focus on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including walking uneven terrain, climbing equipment, and lifting up to 80 pounds.
• Railroad, industrial, military, construction, transportation, or mechanical experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments.
