You will report to the Software Engineering Manager II. This role will be a 2-Years Fixed-Term Contract under Grab and will be base onsite in our Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will:
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems and applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirementsDevelop and maintain technical documentation for backend systems and applicationsParticipate in code reviews and ensure that solutions are aligned with industry standards and best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in backend systems and applications What Essential Skills You Will Need
1+ years of experience in backend software development with languages such as Golang, Java, or Python.Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudFamiliarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration using KubernetesGood understanding of database systems, including relational and NoSQL databasesFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git Life at Grab
