Salary: £32,000 - 32,000 per year
Requirements: Experience coordinating or managing multi-site IT, infrastructure or installation projects, or a strong technical background in structured cabling and the drive to move into project managementPractical understanding of structured cabling, including Cat6/Cat6A, containment, testing and quality assuranceConfidence using MS Project, Excel, Smartsheet or similar toolsStrong organisation and the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and prioritiesClear, confident communication with customers, engineers and senior stakeholdersPRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner is desirableITIL Foundation is desirableExperience with rollouts in retail or other multi-site operational environments is desirable Responsibilities: Plan and deliver IT and data infrastructure rollouts across multiple sites, from pilot through to completionBuild and maintain plans, schedules, trackers and progress reportsCoordinate field engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, materials and logisticsEnsure each site is ready, with access, equipment and engineers in placeOversee structured cabling installations, including Cat6/Cat6A and containment, in line with agreed designs and quality standardsAct as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal teamsManage risks, issues, budgets, change and handover documentation Technologies: ExcelSupportITILProject ManagerDevOps More:
We are a long-established IT support provider working with major UK retail and hospitality brands, and we are investing in our project function under a recently strengthened leadership team. We are hiring a Project Manager for a permanent role based in Cardiff, with a £32,000 basic salary. This opportunity may suit an experienced Project Manager or someone ready to step up from project coordination, rollout or deployment coordination, or a technical cabling role.
