Salary: £46,000 - 86,000 per year
Requirements: 5+ years of experience in BI, analytics engineering, or commercial analytics, including building a system from scratch.Strong SQL and database design skills.Hands-on experience building with Claude, Claude Code, or similar AI coding tools, with examples of shipped work.Enough Python or TypeScript to read, test, and fix code written by AI.Good understanding of P&L, margin, EBITDA, and cash.Confidence challenging figures, including with senior leaders.Recruitment or staffing experience is helpful but not essential; experience building reporting in a sales-led, target-driven business is also relevant. Responsibilities: Build and launch a connected analytics system across the business within 90 days.Connect data on consultant activity, placements, contractor books, weekly gross profit, EBITDA, and cash, with visibility from consultant to CEO level.Build an engine that converts the annual budget into department, team, individual, and activity targets.Create dashboards and apps for Sales, Commercial, Contractor Success, Marketing, Talent, and Finance, all connected to a CEO dashboard.Develop scenario tools to model the impact of changes such as recruiter hiring and debtor days on profit and cash.Automate reporting and introduce alerts to identify problems early.Map the business and launch the first CEO and Sales dashboards in month one, build department dashboards in month two, and connect the system with forecasting and alerts by month three.Work with department heads to define data, metrics, and views, and connect them to financial performance.Build Circle IQ as custom web apps on a central database, using Claude and Claude Code as primary tools, and own the system architecture.
