JOB DESCRIPTION:

True North Recovery, Inc. is seeking a dependable person to join our team as a Print Shop Assistant. This full-time position is responsible for performing basic functions and operations of a print shop for TNR.

Ideal candidates will have a broad skill set in customer service, strong organization skills answering phone calls, recording orders, data entry, responding to business- related emails, basic marketing skills, basic math, the ability to read a tape measure, the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a team, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn. This role reports directly to the Workforce Development Manager and/or designee and may involve occasional travel to remote locations.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete assigned work efficiently and with attention to detail.

• Assist with coordinating customer orders.

• Complete data entry as necessary.

• Communicating with customers and coworkers via email and phone calls.

• Assist in marketing our services.

• Assist with freight handling.

• Manage and stock tools, materials, and supplies.

• Maintain a safe and organized worksite.

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with other departments.

• Proven knowledge of basic maintenance and construction procedures.

• Valid Alaska driver’s license and insurable under company policy (minimum age 18).

• Continued employment is contingent upon satisfactory state and federal background checks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in customer service.

• Strong project and time management abilities.

• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable working under pressure and managing priorities.

• Basic administrative skills and some technical skills.
