BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the supervision of the Referrals Manager, the incumbent is responsible for expediting routine matters necessary to the daily operation of the Referrals Department.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides secretarial support to the Referrals Manager and other staff of the Referrals Department, by performing routine clerical and office functions.
• Develops and maintains a cohesive, team-oriented atmosphere with physicians, nurses, and ancillary
• Assists in the preparation of budgets and reports by assisting with department office supplies and
• Follows through on various program projects as assigned by the Referrals
• Organizes and maintains various files as directed by Referrals
• Drafts correspondence for
• Processes and files all incoming and outgoing department
• Records minutes for department and collaborative team
• Serves as a liaison between patients, offsite referral offices and SNHS Conducts follow-ups between referring providers' offices, patients, and insurance companies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's Degree in Office Administration or Business Administration is
• 2 years of office management experience or related experience,
• Public speaking and etiquette
• Experience working in a mental health facility, hospital, medical center, outpatient health care setting, or Indian Health Service (IHS)/tribal health, preferred.
