About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on IT Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for technology at our Bangalore office and for our teams across Asia and Europe. You'll keep people productive by resolving issues quickly, setting up new hires, and maintaining our hardware and software inventory. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, communicates clearly, and can work independently across time zones.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide first- and second-level support (in person and remote) for hardware, software, network, and account issues
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and meeting-room AV/video conferencing equipment
• Set up and configure new employee devices, accounts, and access, and handle offboarding and device recovery
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, including tracking, labeling, procurement support, and lifecycle management
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and licenses (e.g., Google Workspace)
• Respond to tickets within agreed SLAs, and document solutions and processes in the knowledge base
• Support employees across Asia and European time zones, with clear handoffs and communication
• Assist with software rollouts, patching, OS updates, and endpoint security (antivirus, disk encryption, MDM)
• Coordinate with vendors and ISPs, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams
• Contribute to IT projects such as office moves, equipment refreshes, and tool migrations
Requirements
• [2 to 4] years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support
• Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS
• Experience with Google Workspace and Jamf
• Working knowledge of networking basics (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience maintaining IT asset inventory
• Excellent written and spoken English, and a patient, service-oriented approach with non-technical users
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to cover multiple time zones
Nice to Have
• Experience supporting distributed or global teams
• Certifications such as Jamf Certified Associate (Jamf 100) or higher or Apple Certified IT Professional.
• Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation
