Alteryx has an opportunity for a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

Primary Responsibilities • Cloud Architecture & Governance: Own the end-to-end architecture and governance model for Landing Zones across the organization.. • Automation & Tooling: Design, evolve, and maintain scalable cloud automation platforms and tooling.. • Standards & Practice: Set global best practices and technical standards for infrastructure-as-code (IaC), cloud policy-as-code, and general cloud governance.. • Technical Advisory: Act as a key technical advisor to leadership and collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects.. • Mentorship & Coaching: Coach, motivate, and develop team members to build deep expertise in cloud automation and governance.. • Agile Leadership: Plan and lead operational and project-based work using agile methodologies.. • On-Call Support: Support a 24x7 operations environment with the ability to participate in an on-call rotation with some off-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Core Experience & Education: • Years of Experience: 8+ years in cloud engineering with a proven track record of designing and leading enterprise-scale cloud initiatives.. • Cloud Platforms: Strong experience in both AWS and GCP, with exposure to Azure.. • Cloud Governance: Deep expertise in multi-account cloud governance, Landing Zone principles, and policy enforcement tools (e.g., SCPs, GCP Org Policies, Config Rules).. • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expert proficiency in Terraform.. • Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting capabilities using Python, Bash, and cloud CLI interfaces.. • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery: Solid experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.. • Methodologies: Outstanding leadership, strategic thinking, and mentoring capabilities with a solid background in Agile processes.. Kubernetes & Cloud-Native Skills: • Container Orchestration: Hands-on experience architecting and managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters (such as EKS, GKE, or AKS).. • Cloud-Native Deployment: Experience writing, refactoring, and optimizing Helm charts to deploy and manage services.. • Cluster Management: Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking, security policies, and resource management to ensure highly resilient applications.. Preferred / Nice-to-Have: • Familiarity with configuration management frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Packer).

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. The base salary range for this role in the United States is $160,000 to $185,000. This role is also eligible for a target annual bonus of 15% of base salary, based on individual and company performance. In addition to base pay and bonus eligibility, this role includes clear forms of additional compensation, such as:
