Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into effective software solutions. This role requires active participation in defining project requirements and designing applications that align with organizational goals. The position demands continuous engagement with cross-functional teams to ensure that the developed applications support and enhance business processes efficiently. Throughout the day, the engineer balances technical design activities with communication and coordination efforts to deliver tailored software that meets evolving business demands. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead the development and implementation of customized software solutions to address complex business challenges. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth and enhance overall team performance. - Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of software design with business objectives and compliance requirements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in OneStream Extensive Finance SmartCPM. - Strong experience in application design and development within financial software environments. - Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical specifications. - Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving software issues to maintain system reliability and performance. - Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable and maintainable software architecture. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in OneStream Extensive Finance SmartCPM. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
