Be a key part of the underwriting process that helps customers and dealers move from application to approval. In this role, your calls, verification work, and attention to detail will support timely, accurate lending decisions. You will manage a fast-paced pipeline with clear service level commitments and strong teamwork. If you enjoy customer interaction and investigative work, this role offers a great entry point into auto finance. As a Credit Verification Specialist in Chase Auto Underwriting Support, you contact customers to verify and collect information needed for auto loan underwriting in line with established credit policies and operating procedures. You will work with dealers, customers, and internal partners to complete employment and insurance verification, resolve application issues, and maintain accurate records. You will manage a pipeline to meet service level commitments while delivering a strong customer experience through clear communication and timely follow-through. We value accuracy, collaboration, and accountability in a changing, high-volume environment. Job responsibilities
• Conduct phone interviews with potential and existing auto customers to verify information and complete due diligence • Coordinate with dealers, customers, and internal teams to resolve verification questions and close open items • Perform employment verification in accordance with procedures • Perform insurance verification in accordance with procedures • Investigate and validate loan application details and supporting information • Rekey applications to correct submission errors and improve data accuracy • Meet or exceed quality audit standards by following documented processes and maintaining complete records • Support document retention requirements by ensuring verification documentation is captured and stored appropriately • Manage a daily pipeline to meet service level commitments to automotive dealers Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated customer service or retail sales experience • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and adapt in a changing environment • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills • Reading and speaking in both Spanish and English fluently is required for this role Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
• Experience in auto finance or consumer lending operations • Experience working in a call center or phone-based customer support environment
