About the role: NOV IntelliServ is looking for a practical and reliable Workshop Technician to join our team in Tananger. This is a hands-on role involving workshop activities, equipment handling and cleaning, basic assembly, and practical support to other technicians. Previous experience with NOV IntelliServ equipment is not required. We will provide full internal training on our equipment, tools, and work procedures to help you develop the skills needed for the role. What we offer:

Main responsibilities

• Receive and handle equipment returned from offshore operations. • Wash and clean used equipment in preparation for inspection, maintenance, and repair. • Perform basic assembly and disassembly using common hand tools such as screwdrivers, spanners/wrenches, and hammers. • Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and preparation of equipment. • Move, organize, and prepare equipment within the workshop. • Support other technicians with workshop activities as required. • Keep the workshop and wash areas clean, safe, and organized. • Follow NOV HSE, quality, and work procedures, and complete basic documentation for work performed.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual, and takes responsibility for completing work properly. • Enjoys practical, hands-on work and is comfortable using common hand tools. • Is willing to learn and develop new practical and technical skills. • Can follow instructions, procedures, and safe working practices. • Is comfortable carrying out physical work, including cleaning equipment returned from offshore. • Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Has basic English communication skills. Useful, but not required:

• Previous experience in a workshop, mechanical, warehouse, or industrial environment. • Forklift certification. • Crane or lifting equipment certification. • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry. • Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge. Training and development: We are primarily looking for someone who is reliable, practical, and willing to learn. Full internal training will be provided on NOV IntelliServ equipment and work procedures. Where required, we can also provide additional training and certifications, including forklift and lifting equipment training.
