This vacancy is available as a full time role as follows:
Option 1
Split shifts: 6:00am to 9:24am and 3:00pm to 7:00pm Monday - Friday
Option 2
11:30am to 7:00pm Mondays, 11:00am to 7:00pm Tuesdays to Fridays, including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day
The key responsibilities for this post are as follows (a comprehensive job description is available):
To be a key holder and on the response call listOpening the school site and ensuring the site is safe and ready for usersTo perform general daily cleaning duties in allocated areas, taking pride of cleaning standardsUtilise cleaning machinery, support to fellow cleaners during their shift and participate in litter picking and general tidying of the school groundsOperate our H&S online system to respond to work requests and to raise your own requestsAttending to deliveries and distributing items to appropriate locationsKeep records of the completed work literature or work sheets; share these with the Site ManagerUndertake required Health and Safety training and any other relevant training for the role and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and environmental standards.Qualities & Qualifications required (a full person specification is available):
A reasonable standard of literacy and numeracy, with a willingness to undergo future training and developmentAbility to carry out manual handling and other physical tasksGood communication skills with the ability to talk with school staff, pupils, parents and contractorsBasic understanding of ITBasic knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation relative to the postExperienced with maintenance or DIY workIn return we can offer you:
