We are seeking an exceptional teacher to join Kings Norton Girls’ School and Sixth Form (KNGS) as part of our humanities team. KNGS is an Ofsted Outstanding school and part of the West Midlands Multi Academy Trust. We have a comprehensive intake and a co-educational sixth form. The successful candidate will teach both Geography and Religious Education. The contract is available from January 2027 on a full time, permanent basis (main or upper scale).
Our humanities faculty is a well-established, dedicated and experienced team who work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for our students. We are seeking an effective and ambitious classroom practitioner who is committed to continually improving students’ experiences and attainment. We are looking to appoint a classroom teacher who has excellent subject knowledge and is passionate to motivate, support and challenge all students. The ideal candidate will have the skills and expertise to deliver lessons and develop curriculum through which students develop a strong understanding of Humanities while on their learning journey at KNGS. The timetable will include Geography and RE (including core RE); please note there may be a requirement to teach History in the future based on timetable need. Experience of teaching across all key stages is desirable for either subject.
