Job summary
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Support Assistants with a genuine passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join our dedicated team on Dunkery Stroke and Neurology Unit.
As a Health Care Assistant, you will work as part of a large multidisciplinary team and play a key role in delivering fundamental patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, while supporting patients to achieve shared goals and maximise their independence. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to embrace new challenges as the service continues to develop and evolve.
Main duties of the job
Experience of working within a care setting would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided, including all mandatory training, professional updates, and the skills required to undertake the role effectively.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a flexible approach to shift patterns and, following appropriate training, commit to participating in the on-call service.

Qualifications Essential
Numeracy and literacy level 1 or equivalent. NVQ2 in Healthcare, OR, prepared to undertake a level 2 NVQ in Healthcare and complete within 1 year (to achieve KSF Foundation Gateway)
