Job summary
Join Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as Capital Projects Portfolio Lead and shape major estates projects that directly support outstanding patient care. You will lead a skilled team and oversee a diverse portfolio of construction projects from concept to completion.
We have three opportunities available and are looking for experienced, confident leaders with strong project, financial and stakeholder-management skills and sound knowledge of construction compliance. Main duties of the job
You will lead and manage a site-specific portfolio of capital projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to required quality, safety and compliance standards. Duties include managing staff, budgets, consultants and contractors; developing business cases and project plans; monitoring risks, performance and expenditure; and reporting to senior leaders and governance forums. You will provide specialist estates advice, maintain compliance with relevant legislation, HTMs, HBNs and Trust policies, engage clinical and corporate stakeholders, support strategic capital planning and deputise for senior Capital Projects leadership when required.

Person Specification
Education/ qualifications Essential
Demonstrable professional knowledge acquired through; oa construction related degree, or oother equivalent qualification, or osignificant health and/or construction related industry experience. Detailed demonstrable knowledge and experience in management, leadership, financial, and strategic planning Minimum five years senior management experience in healthcare or similar capital project works delivery environment.
Desirable
Management qualifications. Membership of Professional Institution. Programme and/or project management qualification Health and Safety qualification.
Skills/abilities Essential
Financial analysis and management skills Effective management of industrial relations Some knowledge and experience of the application and use of HR policies and procedures.
