Main duties of the job
Providing pharmacist support to the aseptic service in accordance with relevant legislation, GMP, GCP, Trust procedures and Health and Safety requirements; Undertaking final accuracy checks and release activities for aseptically prepared products, including products supplied by third-party providers, once appropriately trained and authorised; Supporting the accountable pharmacist and senior aseptic team in maintaining safe systems of work and appropriate quality standards; Reviewing relevant aseptic documentation and supporting compliance with the unit's quality systems and procedures; Working effectively with the wider pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams to support safe, efficient and timely patient care; and Promoting good aseptic practice and GMP standards within the service.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Professional Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Masters Degree in Pharmacy or UK recognised equivalent.
Experience Essential
NHS experience is Essential. Experience within Aseptic/Oncology is Essential.
