Job summary
An exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Band 5 registered nurse with a passion for women's health has arisen within the Gynaecology Outpatients Department at Northwick Park Hospital.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centred care to women attending with a wide range of gynaecological conditions, while supporting diagnostic procedures, treatments and clinics.
Main duties of the job
Contribute to maintaining a safe clinical environment, safeguarding patients, infection prevention and control, and promoting dignity, privacy and equality throughout the patient journey. Oversee the day-to-day running of Gynaecology Outpatients Department eg stock management, pharmacy ordering Assist in routine gynaecological procedures eg Outpatient Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy, Smear Clinic. Understand the importance of audit and contribute to departmental KPIs. Liaise with consultants, specialist nurses, healthcare assistants and administrative staff to ensure effective, compassionate care.
