As a Clinical Secretary, you will provide high quality administrative and clinical support within a fast-paced mental health hospital.
You will ensure patient records, communications, and clinical documentation are managed efficiently, accurately, and confidentially.
Working closely with clinicians, patients, external agencies, and colleagues, you will help ensure smooth daily operations.

What We Are Looking for Knowledge, Education, Skills:
Previous experience in medical or clinical administration
Mental health experience (desirable)
AMSPAR Level 3 Diploma in Medical Administration or equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills
Strong typing and audio-typing skills
Good understanding of medical terminology
Excellent organisational and workload management skills
Outstanding attention to detail
A passion for delivering high standards of service
Professional, empathetic, approachable manner
Team oriented, collaborative attitude
Willing to support, train, and mentor colleagues
Committed to confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
Experience Required: Ideally from backgrounds such as:
Healthcare or clinical administration

St Andrews Birmingham is a 125 bedded adult mental healthcare facility comprises of eight units that cover medium and low security for both Men and Women. Located in Stirchley, a vibrant area in South Birmingham, easily accessible by road networks and public transport
