We are looking for an experienced Affiliate Security Officer (ASO) to lead and develop Telesign's information and IT security framework. The role combines security governance, risk management, regulatory compliance and operational oversight, with a strong focus on connecting Business (Sales, Legal) with Security GRC and Operations, and on coordinating and leading the IT Security team. The ASO will ensure that security is effectively integrated into Telesign's strategy, processes, projects and technology environment, while remaining aligned with the rest of the Group (Proximus Global) and its other affiliates.

This position will report to the Group CISO and is part of the Group Security Council, sitting alongside the other Affiliate Security Officers and the Security Domain Leads (GRC, Operations & Engineering). The Domain Leads define the Group's strategic view, which this role then deploys locally with a degree of autonomy, adapting it to Telesign's business context and building the tactical roadmap for control implementation. Key Responsibilities:

• Business-Security bridge & requirements translation • Act as the main link between Business (Sales, Legal) and Security GRC/Operations, translating business and customer-driven needs into a concrete security requirements list. • Build and maintain the tactical roadmap for implementing security controls based on these requirements and on the Group security baseline. • Anticipate security and compliance needs arising from deals, contracts, and customer commitments, rather than only responding once questions arise. • Support commercial and legal teams in shaping security-related client requirements upstream, before they become contractual obligations.

• Customer security compliance management • Lead responses to customer security questionnaires, RFPs, due diligence processes, and compliance requests. • Participate in customer meetings and security review sessions. • Coordinate the delivery of evidence, records, certifications, and documentation requested by clients. • Support commercial and legal teams in security-related client requirements. • Build trust relationships with customers regarding information security practices.

• Security baseline & maturity management • Report on Telesign's security posture against the Group security baseline. • Contribute to decisions on the level of security maturity required for Telesign, and on the controls needed to reach it. • Promote alignment between security requirements, business objectives, and the Group's strategic direction.

• Information security management system • Coordinate the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISMS and its ISO 27001 , and SOC2 certification. • Lead the planning and follow-up of ISMS activities, initiatives, and action plans. • Define, maintain, and improve policies, procedures, protocols, matrices, and security documentation. • Monitor ISMS indicators and prepare reports for decision-making and compliance tracking. • Lead the organisation's IT and information security risk management process. • Coordinate risk assessments and follow-up of remediation plans. • Promote alignment between security requirements and business objectives.

• Audit and governance coordination • Coordinate internal and external security audits. • Ensure timely remediation and follow-up of audit findings. • Support governance committees and prepare documentation and follow-up reports. • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders involved in compliance and security initiatives. • Support Telesign SOC 2 compliance, including coordination with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

• Security incident and risk coordination • Support the coordination and follow-up of information security incidents. • Ensure incidents, risks, and vulnerabilities are properly documented and escalated when required. • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party providers regarding security-related matters. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of incident response and risk management processes.

• Leadership and team management • Lead, guide, and support the Information Security team in alignment with organizational objectives in alignment with Group Security Counsil & Group CISO. • Prioritize, assign, and follow up on team activities, ensuring timely execution and quality standards. • Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team. • Provide coaching, feedback, and development support to team members. • Ensure effective communication and alignment between the security team and other business areas as well as with the Group Security Counsil. • Act as the main point of contact for information security governance across the organization. • Support strategic decision-making related to information security and compliance initiatives. • Promote a strong security culture and security-by-design approach. • Provide reporting to the Group CISO, and align Telesign security strategy with the requirements from the Group Security Counsil. • Regularly align with the Group CISO, the other security officers from the other affiliates, to ensure a global approach of security withing the Group.

Essential Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in IT security, information security governance or cybersecurity, preferably in a complex international organisation. • Proven experience managing or leading a security team. • Strong experience in security governance, risk management and compliance. • Practical knowledge of ISO 27001 / ISMS and security risk management frameworks. • Experience with security audits, risk assessments and compliance programmes. • Experience working with senior management and presenting security risks and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders. • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, applications, identity and access management, vulnerability management and incident management. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to build effective relationships across the organisation. • ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification and/or CISM, CISSP, or similar certifications are desirable.
