About this role

Position Summary Directly supervises all employees and their respective action in their assigned areas to ensure the ordering, preparation, delivery, and service of quality food to patients, employees, and visitors. Serves as a working supervisor coordinating activities of workers or service employees engaged in the At Your Request (AYR) program while performing day today assignments. Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees. Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity. Provides supervision of day-to-day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities. Orients and trains employees and interns on job tasks for call center operator, host/hostess, and the ambassador. Works with customers and employees to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, accuracy, and problem resolution. Provides assistances to other areas of the AYR program as needed. Minimum Requirements High School or equivalent is required.

Must be able to read, write and speak English (Bilingual in Spanish is encouraged)

Related experience or education demonstrating knowledge of normal and modified diets and the Carbohydrate Counting and Protein Exchange Systems is required. One year if supervisory experiences of more than 5 people, and knowledge of how to write a schedule.

Nutrition education background or previous hospital food service, diet office, of clerical experience preferred.

1 to 3 years experience is required.
