Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician maintains and services manufacturing equipment throughout the facility in accordance with standard procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer specifications, and safety policies. This role performs a wide variety of skilled work across multiple functions and supports the preventive maintenance system to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operations. Responsibilities • Perform maintenance service and repairs on assigned manufacturing equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. • Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, replace, and maintain mechanical systems and associated equipment, including air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, and related components. • Facilitate and accurately follow detailed operational instructions, prints, and documentation for jobs, equipment setup, and maintenance operations. • Administer the preventive maintenance system, including scheduling, execution, documentation, and preparation of required maintenance reports. • Determine preventive maintenance requirements for new equipment and develop maintenance routines and schedules to support long-term reliability. • Educate and train equipment operators to perform routine maintenance and basic care of machinery and systems. • Maintain a safe and effective work area by following safety policies and procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment. • Support the facilities function as needed, assisting with facility-related maintenance and operational tasks. • Complete other maintenance and facilities-related responsibilities as assigned to support overall plant operations. • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance and be able to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as necessary to meet operational needs. Essential Skills • Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics. • Ability to perform preventive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment. • Hands-on experience with mechanical repair, adjustment, and replacement of parts and components. • Basic electrical knowledge sufficient to support equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. • Ability to read, interpret, and follow schematics, prints, and detailed operational instructions. • Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing issues with mechanical and related systems. • Commitment to following safety policies, procedures, and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. • Ability to maintain accurate maintenance documentation and reports. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working with air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, and similar facility equipment. • Background in administering or supporting a preventive maintenance program. • Ability to train equipment operators on routine maintenance procedures. • Flexibility to support facilities functions beyond core equipment maintenance. • Willingness to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime when required. Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure. Personal protective equipment is required in designated areas, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures is expected. Work hours may vary and can include nights, weekends, and overtime to support production and maintenance needs. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mcminnville, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
