About this role

Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in constructing large switch gear systems that power essential facilities such as airports, hospitals, and schools. You will be part of a dynamic project focused on developing new switch board assemblies, working on a conveyor to mechanically assemble and wire units, handling approximately 25 wires per unit. Responsibilities • Mechanically assemble and wire switch gear units on a conveyor. • Utilize hand tools and specialty tools provided for assembly tasks. • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately. • Collaborate with a team to meet production needs and deadlines. • Adhere to work instructions and maintain a consistent pace in repetitive tasks. Essential Skills • 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience. • Experience in electrical assembly and wiring, preferably 1-2 years. • Proficiency in reading schematics and wiring diagrams. • Skills in soldering, crimping, and using hand tools for electrical wiring. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in electronic assembly and harness wiring. • Ability to stand for long periods, specifically 10-hour shifts. • Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs. • Team-player with a positive attitude and good communication skills. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of BROKEN ARROW, OK. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.55 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
