About this role

Warehouse AssociateJob DescriptionThe Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting the distribution of products and solutions for professionals in the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, automation, waterworks, and onsite sewer and well industries. In this role, you accurately pick and stage orders, prepare materials for shipment, and use RF scanners and computer systems to ensure that products are processed and labeled correctly. You spend most of your day on your feet, moving throughout the warehouse to locate materials and fulfill orders received through the computer system.Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately based on information received through the computer system. • Locate materials throughout the warehouse and ensure the correct items and quantities are selected. • Stage materials in designated areas to prepare them for packing and shipment. • Load products into boxes and other packaging materials in a safe and efficient manner. • Use RF scanners to track inventory, confirm picks, and update order status. • Operate computer systems to print labels and process order documentation. • Maintain organization in the warehouse to support efficient order fulfillment. • Move continuously throughout the warehouse while on your feet to complete assigned tasks. • Follow established procedures and safety guidelines while handling materials and equipment. • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to ensure orders are completed on time. Essential Skills

• Experience working in a warehouse environment. • Ability to use RF scanners to pick and track inventory. • Basic computer skills to process orders and print labels. • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods while moving throughout the warehouse. • Attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, staging, and labeling of materials. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established warehouse procedures. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and tasks efficiently. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Alexandria, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
