Job Title: Paint TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Paint/Prep Technician to join our team and contribute to the high-quality preparation of vehicle surfaces on work truck bodies and equipment prior to painting. This role requires flexibility in commuting, as the location will change in March. The position is based in Garner, NC, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and offers additional overtime as needed, including the opportunity to work on Saturdays. Responsibilities • Complete quality vehicle surface preparation on work truck bodies and equipment prior to painting. • Prepare surfaces for paint per established standards. • Fill and sand body imperfections as needed. • Mask and protect vehicle surfaces. • Pre-fit and drill bumpers, ladder racks, and other holes as necessary. Essential Skills • Previous equipment painting experience in automotive, marine, industrial, or aviation sectors. • Proficiency in paint preparation and painting techniques, including the use of paint sprayers. • Experience in auto body work. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with base coat or clear coat is a plus. • Ability to work overtime and on Saturdays. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
