You will troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems, perform precision alignments, and support shutdowns and capital projects while working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality results on schedule.Responsibilities

• Install, dismantle, relocate, and assemble industrial machinery and production equipment in a safe and efficient manner. • Perform equipment alignment, leveling, and rigging operations to ensure proper installation and reliable operation. • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment specifications to plan and execute work accurately. • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and process equipment. • Perform bearing replacements, shaft alignments, belt changes, and mechanical rebuilds to restore equipment performance. • Assist with plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and capital improvement projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time. • Operate hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and rigging equipment safely and effectively. • Work closely with project supervisors and customer personnel to coordinate tasks and complete projects on schedule. • Follow all site-specific safety requirements, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures at all times. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all project locations. Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of experience as a Millwright, in industrial maintenance, mechanical installation, or a closely related field. • Proven experience working in manufacturing, distribution, automotive, food processing, paper, steel, chemical, or other industrial facilities. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment specifications. • Hands-on experience with pumps, conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics. • Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems and industrial equipment. • Experience performing precision alignment, equipment installation, and mechanical adjustments. • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and rigging equipment. • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices, including lockout/tagout procedures. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various customer sites. • Ability to work extended hours, including overtime and some Saturdays, as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. • Experience with mechanical rebuilds and component replacements such as bearings, shafts, and belts. • Familiarity with OSHA 10 safety practices or similar safety training. • Comfort working on a variety of industrial projects and facilities. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with supervisors and customer personnel. • Ability to adapt to different industrial environments and project requirements. Work takes place at various industrial customer sites, which may include manufacturing, distribution, automotive, food processing, paper, steel, chemical, and other industrial facilities. The environment is hands-on and equipment-focused, involving regular use of hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and rigging equipment. You will work in active industrial settings where adherence to OSHA regulations, site-specific safety rules, and lockout/tagout procedures is essential. Travel to different customer locations is required, and the role may involve extended hours to support shutdowns, turnarounds, and time-sensitive projects. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Clarksville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
