About this role

Job Title: Cable AssemblerJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as a Cable Assembler, where you'll be crafting ruggedized cables for an electronics cabling company. You'll work from blueprints and schematics, ensuring precision and quality in building cables essential for military, medical, and commercial applications. Responsibilities • Assemble cable and wire harness components according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. • Strip, crimp, terminate, and solder wires and connectors to specification. • Perform quality inspections and continuity testing on finished products. • Use hand tools such as wire strippers, cutters, crimpers, and soldering equipment. • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, color codes, and technical drawings. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace. • Follow production standards to ensure consistent, high-quality output. Essential Skills • Hands-on experience with cable building, soldering, crimping, or wiring. • Ability to work with small components and tools. • Proficient in reading diagrams, wiring instructions, or work orders. • Understanding of color coding and wire routing. • Attention to detail and quality focus, ensuring precision and defect-free builds. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Basic soldering skills are a significant advantage. • Previous manufacturing or electronic assembly experience. • Familiarity with IPC standards such as IPC-620 and J-STD. • Experience with continuity testing or QA processes. • Comfortable with repetitive, seated work. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Melbourne, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
