Job Title: RF Test TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking multiple RF Test Technicians to join our team in Sykesville, Maryland. As part of the Mission Systems sector, you will collaborate with experts in developing systems and solutions that enhance global safety. The role involves applying electronics principles in the fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of various components and systems, ensuring their functionality and reliability. Responsibilities • Apply electronics principles to fabricate, test, and troubleshoot components, assemblies, devices, circuits, and systems. • Perform acceptance test procedures to verify equipment function. • Determine methods for monitoring tests and measuring electrical performance on complex systems. • Select, set up, calibrate, and operate complex equipment across various technologies. • Verify and validate product and paperwork configuration, test processes, and equipment setup. • Measure, collect, and record electrical performance data, analyzing and evaluating results for reliability and validity. • Program and verify devices. • Troubleshoot systems, devices, processes, and test setups to repair defective areas. • Assist engineers in designing and developing circuits, processes, and operations. • Develop, construct, and test complex components, assemblies, devices, and systems. • Perform initial procedural tests on new or changed equipment, making necessary modifications. • Adapt to changing assignments and requirements. • Develop processes, test specifications, and revision notices. • Integrate software and hardware through debugging, writing code, and modifying systems. Essential Skills • Current active DoD Secret Security Clearance with an investigation date within the last 5 years. • High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant experience in the fabrication and testing of complex systems. • Experience with electronics principles. Additional Skills & Qualifications • RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience. • Test development experience in a nearfield antenna range. • Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment. Work EnvironmentThe position is located in Sykesville, Maryland, within a 200,000-square-foot facility that includes office space, manufacturing space, a production floor, R&D lab, and test cells. The facility hosts over 200 employees and is dedicated to developing advanced power and electronic control systems for cutting-edge technologies in national defense. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sykesville, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
