Data Control Assistant
Job Description: "APPLICANTS/ASSOCIATES TENTATIVELY SELECTED FOR A TDP WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT TO URINALYSIS TO SCREEN FOR ILLEGAL DRUG USE PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT/SELECTION."
Responsible for scheduling daily computer runs to ensure the continuous and efficient flow of merchandise in distribution centers. reviews current processes to improve efficiencies resulting in a tailored customer experience.
Job Qualifications: Completion of high school or the equivalent. Six months of warehouse work experience preferred. May use material handling equipment as required.
If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting.
Additional Qualifications/Requirements: MONDAY-FRIDAY SCHEDULE 0730-1630 (7:30 AM- 4:30 P.M.)SOME OVERTIME, WEEKENDS AND NIGHTS (WHEN NEEDED)
Major Duties: Monitors the conveyor system, ensures merchandise flows to appropriate shipping lanes correctly. Changes daily distribution workflow cycles and coordinates conveyor system errors to appropriate department. Reviews data control input for accuracy, completeness, and clarity. Updates and maintains files and other documentation control, maintains required suspense files and logs. Use of PC for data entry and use of appropriate systems/software/hardware for correspondence, reports, etc. May generate labels, prepares, and distributes various distribution reports to management. Monitors the conveyor system, ensures merchandise flows to appropriate shipping lanes correctly. Changes daily distribution workflow cycles and coordinates conveyor system errors to appropriate department. Reviews data control input for accuracy, completeness, and clarity. Assures compliance with fire, safety, and security regulations, as well as ensuring the security of fixed assets, cash, and inventory. Practices loss prevention procedures and alerts security and management of potential problems that may involve fraud, waste, and abuse. Performs other duties as assigned.
