Job description: Job Title: Windows/Citrix Administrator About the Role We are seeking a skilled Windows/Citrix Administrator to join our dynamic Application Operations (AppOps) team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting our Citrix and Windows-based infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance of business-critical applications. --- Key Responsibilities · Administer and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), including provisioning, patching, and performance tuning. · Manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory, Group Policy. · Collaborate with AppOps, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues. · Maintain and improve automation scripts and tools for system management and deployment. · Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. · Participate in on-call rotation and incident response activities. · Monitor and troubleshoot Citrix infrastructure, including StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Director, and Citrix Gateway. · Manage user profiles and policies using WEM, and Group Policy. · Implement and support Citrix WEM for user environment optimization and performance tuning. · Manage Citrix PVS farms for efficient desktop and server provisioning -IIS Server Management --- Required Qualifications · 3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration. · 2+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. · Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting. · Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, Citrix Director, ControlUp). · Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes. · Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. --- Preferred Qualifications · Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) or higher. · Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate. · Experience with AppOps or DevOps environments. · Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments. · Exposure to application performance monitoring (APM) tools.
