Job Description: Transportation Intern Looking to gain hands-on transportation and fleet experience with a Fortune 100 food company? At Performance Food Group, interns don't sit on the sidelines. You'll work on a meaningful project tied to real business needs, partner with leaders across the organization, and gain exposure to one of the largest food distribution companies in North America. Transportation at PFG plays an important role in moving products safely and efficiently to customers across our network. As a Transportation Intern, you will gain exposure to transportation and fleet operations, support continuous improvement efforts through data analytics and modeling, and contribute to projects that help optimize the business. • Learn PFG's transportation and fleet operations

• Support day-to-day corporate transportation activities

• Analyze transportation data and help identify opportunities for improvement

• Support optimization projects and present findings to business leaders

Internship Details

• Internship Duration: June 1st 2027 – August 13th 2027

• Compensation: $22/hour

• Major(s): Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Required Qualifications: Rising Junior or Rising Senior

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Must be located near Richmond, Virgina

Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications: Rising Senior

Minimum GPA of 3.0
