The Senior Project Analyst will serve as the “right hand” to the Project Manager for Naval Special Warfare (NSW), United States Coast Guard (USCG), and Family of Special Operations Vehicles (FOSOV) project portfolios. This role supports both short‑duration, high‑urgency projects and longer‑term requirements across the full project lifecycle—design, procurement, fabrication, integration, testing, installation, and fielding of C5ISR platforms. The analyst acts as the essential conduit between the Project Manager and project‑support personnel, ensuring compliance, precision, and timely delivery of all project artifacts. • Define objectives and strategies by working with the Project Manager to align project goals with customer and contractual requirements. • Assist in developing and maintaining program plans that meet project requirements and objectives. • Assists the project manager to collaborate within business‑unit departments to identify staffing needs and coordinate project scheduling. • Contribute to work breakdown structures, statements of work, cost estimates, schedules, risk registers, master equipment lists/bill of materials, and other required artifacts. • Support projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring that milestones are met. • Coordinate with internal customers and functional departments to gather feedback and develop project cost estimate data analysis. • Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations for offsite data analysis support. • Help define and maintain clear, realistic scope, schedule, and budget parameters. • Ensure project execution adheres to safety, export‑control, and security standards. • Assist the project manager to Identify, resolve, and communicate project issues to appropriate stakeholders. This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
Required Skills and Education: Associate degree in Program Management, Business-related, or Engineering field of study At least 8 years of experience with C5ISR platforms, systems, and subsystems Advanced problem solving and organizational skills Ability to demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, leadership, and advanced problem-solving skills Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written at all levels within the company and within the customer community Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams)
Preferred Skills and Education: Familiarity with military and DoD customer organizations Familiarity or experience with tactical military communications systems CAPM or PMP certification Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification or hands-on experience with SCRUM methodologies Experienced with Project Management Information Tools such as Jira and Confluence
