About this role

Fixed term contract. This is a temporary post for a maximum of 6 months, starting as soon as possible from 1st November 2026 and end date of 31st May 2027 at the latest.

The Opportunity:

Together we can do great things. Be part of something bigger.

Here, you can continue to make a difference in everything around you. There are so many reasons to take your next step with us.

The University of Edinburgh is a world-class organisation. We are a large University covering a wide range of activities. In Professional Services, we support the University’s research and teaching, offering many career and role specialisms.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the successful delivery of Evidence Exchange (EvEx), an ESRC funded investment creating a national infrastructure to widen and diversify opportunities for public and civil servants to take up learning and exchange offers from universities and research organisations. The EvEx project brings together a consortium of universities, partners and specialist organisations across the UK.

This post will play an important role in the design and delivery of the EvEx Policy Fellowships programme within Scotland. The post holder will contribute their expert knowledge and brokering skills to understand the policy needs of the public and civil servants taking part in the programme, then find and match relevant academic expertise (from University of Edinburgh and beyond) for them to meet with. As the Fellowships Coordinator, you will work within a small team at Edinburgh based in the Edinburgh Research Office, as well as communicating with counterparts across the EvEx consortium.
