About the role
We are looking for a Student Email Manager to lead the planning, delivery and optimisation of email communications across the student recruitment journey. Working within the Student Marketing & Communications team, you will manage email campaigns that support prospective students from enquiry through to enrolment, ensuring communications are timely, engaging and data-driven.
You will lead the development of email marketing activity, manage campaign delivery, provide guidance to email officers, and use insight and performance data to continuously improve engagement and conversion.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite term contract.
About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
Educated to degree level and/or with substantial relevant experience in email marketing and campaign management. Proficiency in email marketing tool Microsoft Dynamics and experience using CRM platforms and customer journeys or marketing automation. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, maintain and manage stakeholder relationships. Ability to analyse and interpret data, make informed recommendations, produce reports and monitor progress. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to create engaging and visually appealing email content. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Working knowledge of data protection requirements for email marketing.
Desirable criteria
Experience of email marketing in higher education or student recruitment. Experience in line management, providing guidance, support and development, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
