Queen Mary University of London’s Malta Campus is seeking to appoint a highly motivated academic to join the Faculty of Medicine. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of our MBBS programme in a unique international medical school environment. This is an education-focused posts, with a strong emphasis on high-quality teaching, curriculum development, and assessment within clinically relevant basic medical sciences.

Person specification
Applicants should hold a PhD, MBBS, or equivalent qualification, and demonstrate:
A strong track record of excellence in teaching & commitment to student-centred education Ability to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary academic team Experience in assessment design and delivery will be considered an advantage.
Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience in clinical pharmacology and good working knowledge of the British National Formulary (BNF).
About QMUL Malta
The Malta Campus, located in Gozo, delivers the same MBBS programme as Queen Mary’s London campus, with a strong emphasis on integrated clinical and academic teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about medical education and wish to play a key role in shaping the next generation of doctors.
The salary for appointment as Lecturer is set at Grade 5 (€51,544 - €56,087) + an annual Academic Allowance of €3,000.
The salary for appointment as Senior Lecturer is set at Grade 4 (€56,519 - €61,062) + an annual Academic Allowance of €5,500.
Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave and a relocation package for international candidates.
