With a skilled workforce across manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, supply chain and support functions, the site offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a highly technical environment The Opportunity We are now recruiting for Procurement Administrator. The Procurement Administrator will work as part of a high performing, customer focused Procurement team, supporting the timely procurement of goods and services required to maintain safe and reliable plant operations of Wyke Agrichemical Manufacturing Plant (WAMP). The role holder will be required to work on site at WAMP typically 1-2 days per week, but this may increase depending on site-based and operational requirements. You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence. Liaising with stakeholders to understand their requirements, and requesting none complex quotes from approved suppliers Liaising with suppliers on availability and delivery schedules Obtaining & comparing quotes from approved suppliers and assisting Buyers with negotiations Processing purchase orders from requisitions Expediting purchase orders Supporting Buyers with tendering, including new supplier sourcing & selection Assisting in identifying cost saving opportunities and efficiencies (including process improvements) Assisting with supplier performance monitoring, including KPIs, NCRs and positive feedback More responsibilities can be found on the Role Profile.
