Coleg Sir Gâr is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and dedicated Welding and Fabrication Lecturer to join our dynamic and growing Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to shape the future of engineering education by delivering high-quality teaching, practical workshop instruction, and academic support across our Further Education programmes (Levels 1–3). Whether you are an established lecturer or an industry specialist looking to step into education, you will bring a strong practical background in MMA, MIG, TIG, and Fabrication processes, paired with a passion for inspiring the next generation of engineers. Deliver engaging, high-quality practical and theoretical teaching across Level 1–3 Welding and Fabrication courses. Develop curriculum materials, course content, and practical assignments aligned with current industry standards. Support individual learner achievement, progress tracking, and progression into industry or higher education. Collaborate with departmental colleagues, local employers, and industry partners to ensure programmes remain cutting-edge. Maintain high standards of workshop health and safety, equipment maintenance, and safe working practices.
