Coleg Sir Gar have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Lecturer in electrical installations, based at our Ammanford Campus for approx 12-18 hours. This is a great opportunity to inspire the next generation of learners at Coleg Sir Gar. As a lecturer in electrical installations, you will be responsible for high-quality teaching and assessments of learners on our programmes of study. You will liaise with third-party stakeholders including sector skills councils, industrial bodies, partner schools, employers and other higher education institutions. You will ensure your learners have the very best experience with an inclusive learning environment that promotes learner engagement, participation, and success. The construction curriculum area forms part of the construction and ILS faculty. The construction provision is based at our Ammanford Campus and includes building crafts, building services, schools, construction technical and higher education. Part of the school's provision is also delivered off-site at Bryngwyn school. The curriculum area team has over thirty full-time and part-time members, which includes teaching, assessing and support staff. The curriculum area also has extensive links with industry, winning many national awards for collaborative partnerships. The successful candidate will mainly support the electrical installations occupations team but will also be expected to contribute across the whole faculty provision to support delivery and assessment to our students as required.
